What I Do

Software

I develop software during the day for a company. I also implement solutions in my spare time to solve various problems that myself and others have.

Security

I study networking, network and software security, and ethical hacking outside of work in order to keep up with the times and allow myself to be able to assess other's needs.

Architecture

I am currently approaching a new level of development where I am putting together larger projects by looking at the bigger picture and breaking it into parts to be a solution to a much larger problem.

About Me

As a highly dedicated and experienced fullstack software engineer, security professional, and consultant with 12 years of increasing responsibility in warehouse voice solutions, defense readiness applications, customer sales software support, the moving industry, agricultural business and development roles with a wide variety of development tools including C#.NET, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, javascript, MySQL, and SQLServer. I am seeking and aspire to assist with customer satisfaction by creating high quality products using the SDLC. And, I would like to assess systems for viability and security awareness. Currently, my interests have reached into wanting to step out in leadership in order to mentor less experienced developers and be mentored to become a better courtier in the game of life.

Profile

I moved to Pittsburgh in 2018 where enjoy doing a number of things around the city. Pittsburgh is like a small town and a metropolis at the same time, not to mention it is a serious tech hub. I was born in Grand Rapids, MI, and I moved around a few times. I fell in love with computers in the 80s when my dad had a computer lab in his middle school. He brought me there and let me experiment, and I was hooked. This is truly when I started my career. I later went to Rochester Institute of Technology where I was a part of Computer Science House and the Honors and Leadship Program.
